A steel supplier website with real 3D profiles
Ironline is dark, precise and industrial: graphite ground, one signal orange and steel profiles rendered in 3D straight from their real cross-sections (IPE, HEA, UPN, tubes, angles, flats, plate). They catch orange rim light, turn slowly and follow the cursor.
What makes it work
- 3D weight calculator – pick a profile and size, see it in 3D with a dimensioned cross-section, kg/m and total weight count up as you type
- Stock catalog – four product groups in tabs, glass product cards with grades, lengths and size ranges
- Inquiry list – add lines from the calculator, the catalog or by hand, then send everything in one request
- Live counters – the header button and the orange inquiry band show how many lines are in the inquiry
- Numbered capability cards and a metal-plate footer with contact details and opening hours
Easy to make your own
Products, specs, contact details and hours live in one file (content/market.ts). Steel tables are in lib/steel.ts, the 3D scenes (pieces, lights, camera) in lib/steel3d.ts. three.js loads only in the browser; without WebGL or with reduced motion the site falls back to still views.
